As of February 11, 2026, the project is out to bid. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Jackson (West) Armory - Renovate Armory PROJECT ADDRESS (if applicable) Jackson (West) Armory 2700 W. Argyle St., Jackson, MI PROJECT NAME AND LOCATION Jackson (West) Armory- Renovate Armory Award of design contract in early January. Complete design and have a set of construction documents ready to bid in July 2025. Construction contract approved by September 30, 2025. This project will comply with all codes, standards, regulations, and workers' safety rules that are administered by federal agencies (EPA, OSHA, and DOT), state agencies (DHHS, EGLE, DNR, and MIOSHA), and any other local regulations and standards that may apply. The Professional Services Contractor (PSC) Existing AutoCAD files will be provided to the selected PSC. The PSC should provide Phase 300 Schematic Design Services, Phase 400 Preliminary Design Services, Phase 500 Final Desing Services, and Phase 600 and 700 Construction Administration Office and Field Services. The full scope of the project will be discovered through a design charette hold at the Armory. For more details on the program refer to the attached Design Guide and conceptual Site/Floor Plan.
