This project is intended to address potential legionella risks associated with the domestic hot water system. The RFP stated the following scope of work: 1. Supply and installation of new domestic hot water recirculation pump and piping throughout building. 2. Reconfiguration of DHWT-1 and DHWT-2 to remove tempered water system and deliver hot water throughout the building. 3. Supply and installation of domestic hot water expansion tank on DHWT-1 and DHWT-2. 4. Supply and installation of thermostatic mixing valves to lavatories in main washrooms. 5. Removal of DHWT-3. 6. Removal of fixtures from commercial kitchen on Level 2 7. Cut walls as required to install new piping. Patch, prime and paint to match existing. 8. Remove and reinstall ceilings as required to complete the work.
