Request for Qualificationfor the purposes of qualifying tenderers for construction services in Ottawa, Ontario. It is the CMs objective to identify Trade Partners specialized in their field of expertise, that will be permitted to provide bid pricing for the execution and delivery of CM Services to Block 2 in Ottawa, ON. Canada has made it a priority to advance Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples and, as part of that effort, to increase Indigenous participation within federal procurement. This RFQ encourages the proponent to involve Indigenous businesses and individuals in participating in the performance of the work under the contract The package scope involves the decommissioning of mechanical and electrical equipment, as well as the abatement of hazardous building materials in support of interior demolition and deconstruction activities at Bate, Birks, Fisher, Marshall, Canada Four Corners and Union buildings. The package scope also includes heritage removal and salvaging work, including architectural elements, masonry and marble. The scope will require the proponent to carry the services of a qualified heritage conservator.
