Site work and new construction of an office development in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Completed plans call for the construction of a office development; and for site work for a office development.
Scope of Work: The successful contractor shall Design, Construct, and Install two (2) office trailers for Prince Georges' County. The contractor shall be responsible for the following: 1. Delivery, blocking the trailer up (on ABS pads), tie-downs, skirting. 2. Contractor shall determine the actual location of all existing utilities prior to starting any Work. Certified County-Based Minority Business, Certified County-Based Small Business; and/or Certified Minority Business Enterprise Subcontracting Requirement: 30% Estimated Budget Amount: $2 Million Time for Completion: 180 calendar days from the date of "NTP". Request for Information (RFIs): All inquiries must be submitted via email to Estimating@tuckman.com no later than COB, Friday, December 6, 2024, as they are due to the PGCO Government via SPEED on Monday, December 9, 2024, at 2:00 PM. General Contractor pricing is due to PGCO Government via SPEED on Monday, December 16, 2024, NO LATER THAN 4:00 PM. Notice of affirmative action and nondiscrimination obligations of federal contractors and subcontractors. This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a) (as amended by E.O. 13665 regarding pay transparency), 60-300.5(a) 60-741.5(a) and 29 CFR 471. These regulations prohibit discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities and prohibit discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, or for inquiring about, discussing, or disclosing information about compensation. Moreover, these regulations require that covered prime contractors and subcontractors take affirmative action to employ and advance in employment individuals without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status. Certified County-Based Minority Business, Certified County-based Small Business; and/or Certified Minority Business Enterprise Subcontracting Requirement: 30% The successful contractor shall design, construct, and install two (2) office trailers for Prince Georges' County. The contractor shall be responsible for the following: 1. delivery, blocking the trailer up (on ABS pads), tie-downs, skirting. 2. Contractorshall determine the actual location of all existing utilities prior to starting any Work. Contractor shall contact utility companies for field locations prior to the start of Construction Work and shall contact all utilities at least 48 hours prior to beginning excavation and/or grading. If the exact location and depth of existing underground utilities are unknown, Contractor shall perform all necessary exploratory excavation to locate these facilities which may affect the Work prior to beginning construction. Contractor shall obtain required locates and Contractor shall include the information on the plans. Contractor shall resolve any utility discrepancies and shall be liable for any damage done to existing utilities in the performance of the Work. 3. The successful Contractor would liaise with the County's Office of Information Technology (OIT) to ensure the completion of Fiber work as directed by the County's OIT office. 4. Contractor to check the existing concrete pad and make any repair needed. 5. Connecting any or all rain leaders to the existing mains. Removal of all existing walkways and covers with the pressure treated wood. 6. Any and all coordination with the utility companies for removal and reinstallation will be the General Contractor's (GC) responsibility.
