The goal of the project is to renovate the existing asphalt plant, including but not limited to new equipment, revised layout for improved traffic routing, utilities, and materials storage, while maintaining existing seasonal operations of the asphalt plant. The City wishes to improve the existing Asphalt Plant, decrease emissions, improve traffic routing, increase production of asphalt, and engage in staffing increases producing more jobs. In order to achieve this, this project will renovate the site and equipment at the Roslyn Complex. The renovation will address existing traffic routing, failing equipment, and material storage, that are beyond their useful life. The project will be phased to procure long lead equipment early with the bulk of construction during the winter of 2025, 2026. The project has an anticipated construction budget of $4,200,000.00.
