The City of Marianna is seeking design engineering services related to the design of a sidewalk for the South Street Sidewalk Project. The scope of this project will include the surveying, design, and permitting (if applicable) of approximately 1 mile of sidewalk along CR 167 (South Street) as identified in the City's Local Agency Participation contract with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT). Consideration will be given to only those firms that are qualified pursuant to law and that have been prequalified by FDOT to perform the indicated types of work. This project is federally funded with assistance from the FDOT. By submitting qualifications, the Consultant certifies that they are in compliance with FDOT Procedure No. 375-030-006 (Restriction on Consultants Eligibility to Compete for Department Contracts) and that no principle is presently suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible or voluntarily excluded from participation on this transaction by any Federal Department or Agency. Small business and minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit proposals, and firms using such subcontractors are strongly encouraged to solicit such firms in the subcontracting process. Any Contracts/subcontracts issued under this procurement must comply with the necessary affirmative steps to assure that minority businesses, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are used, when possible, in accordance with 2 CFR 200.321 The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
