Consideration of bids typically involves (i) review and tabulation of the bids and accompanying information, (ii) review of bid alternates and any provided samples, (iii) consideration of any history the Owner has with any bidder, subcontractor, consultant, major supplier and any of their personnel, (iv) recommendation from Owner's design professional, (v) contacts of references and those for whom bidders have previously worked, (vi) recommendation by the Owner's senior staff to the Owner's City Council, (vii) finalization of contract documents with and the signature(s) of the recommended Bidder, (viii) City Council award of the contract, (ix) completion of all contract documents including performance and payment bonds, certificates of insurance, and signatures by the Mayor and City Clerk. The Owner is not obligated to follow and may deviate from this typical process as deemed in the Owner's best interests. All bids must remain valid for at least 90 days after submission. Include the bid bond in the amount of 5.0% of the bid price in a form required by the Supplemental Conditions. Agrees to complete the work according to the following: a. Substantial Completion by May 23, 2025. b. Final Completion by June 20, 2025.
