As of December 2, 2025, an architect has been selected, and the project is currently in the design phase. Bidding is anticipated to begin in March 2026, with construction expected to start in May 2026 and conclude by May 2027. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The University of Toledo ("UToledo") is soliciting qualifications for professional Architect/Engineer ("A/E") Services associated with the renovation, addition, and conversion of space in the Health Education Center ("HE"), located on Main Campus into a transformational complex that will house student-athlete dining, nutrition, well-being, academic and operational support. HE is an approximately 79,000 SF building which was originally built in 1967.
