Bids for the construction of Newnan Crossing Bypass SB Left Turn Lane at Lower Fayetteville Road & Newnan Crossing Bypass NB Right Turn Lane. The work consists of furnishing and installing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and related services required for a complete project. This project includes but is not limited to the erosion and sediment control, traffic control including signage, striping, roadway and stormwater structure demolition, utility relocation, grading, installation of gravity wall, installation of reconstructed catch basins, reconstruction of roadway sidewalks, medians, and all related appurtenances that are required by the Contract Drawing and these Contract Documents and Technical Specifications within the project limits. The project is designed to enhance traffic operations by extending two turn lanes which will improve peak hour traffic flow on Newnan Crossing Bypass. Newnan Crossing Bypass SB Left Turn Lane at Lower Fayetteville Road & Newnan Crossing Bypass NB Right Turn Lane at SR 34: This project consists of a left turn lane extension on SB Newnan Crossing Bypass at Lower Fayetteville Rd and a right turn lane extension and RCUT addition at NB Newnan Crossing Bypass at SR 34. This includes grading, drainage, asphalt paving, median, curb & gutter installation and wall construction. This project shall be built in accordance with the Construction Plans for Newnan Crossing Bypass at Lower Fayetteville Rd SB Left Turn Lane and at SR 34 Right Turn Lane as prepared by Heath & Lineback on behalf of the City of Newnan Public Works, dated January 23, 2024.
