Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Columbus, Ohio. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 1,900-square-foot educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
The selected Construction Manager at Risk, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposal, will discuss and clarify with the Contracting Authority/Owner, the breakdown of the Agreement detailed cost components, to address the Owner's project requirements and refine the project schedule. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth & Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement A key component of the project involves relocating the current Store to accommodate a new 1,900-square-foot multifunction classroom and maker space. This versatile area will support artmaking classes, educational programming, community events and multidisciplinary public programs. Planned updates for the space include new lighting, upgraded power, enhanced plumbing for sinks and custom cabinetry installations.
