THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE CITY OF CHICAGO invites prequalified General Contractors to bid on the project/projects referenced below. Bids must be submitted on the forms issued as part of the Bidding Documents. Bidding Contractors are required to be pre-qualified with the Chicago Public Schools for this project. The form of agreement for the work will be the General Contracting Services Agreement. This contract is subject to all of the terms and conditions of the General Contracting Services Agreement between the Board and General Contractor dated as of January 1, 2022. TYPE OF WORK: Interior & Exterior Renovations with MEP Upgrades CONTRACT PERIOD: Contractor to Achieve Preliminary Acceptance By: Milestone #1: 8/18/2025 Milestone #2: 11/30/2025 Milestone #3: 1/1/2026 Milestone #4: 8/10/2026 A bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid price is required. Any questions can be directed to Patricia Hernandez, Acting Chief Procurement Officer phernandez@cps.edu. Any question or doubt as to the true meaning and intent of the Drawings or Specifications must be referred to the Architect/Engineer of Record for response. Oral responses by the Architect/Engineer of Record or Board's Representative are not binding on the Board.
