Renovation of a theater / auditorium in Asheville, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 25,000-square-foot theater / auditorium.
Thomas Wolfe Roof Replacement Description of Work: The Thomas Wolfe Auditorium located at 87 Haywood Street, Asheville-part of the Harrah's Cherokee Center Asheville complex-requires a full roof replacement. The existing roof is modified bitumen, approximately 25,000 square feet. The roof was significantly damaged during Hurricane Helene. The City seeks a qualified firm to provide engineering services, including, but not limited to: construction documents and specifications, cost estimating, bid assistance, and construction administration. Questions due by 5pm 12/11/24, All questions concerning this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) should be submitted via email to: Nicole George, Project Manager ngeorge@ashevillenc.gov . It is anticipated that this project will be funded in full or in part through federal public assistance grants from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). As such, federal procurement terms and conditions shall apply to this request. (Incident #20240924 Tropical System Helene) The City of Asheville reserves the right to reject any or all Letters of Interest and Statements of Qualifications. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
