Performance bond in the amount of the contract is required in the event that the contract is in excess of $100,000. Payment bond in the amount of the contract is required in the event that the contract is in excess of $25,000. SCOPE Hays Consolidated Independent School District seeks E-rate discounts for leased lit or dark fiber data transmission service to connect a new site, Lamont Ramage Elementary, to the district WAN. It is expected that the new location will be connected to the existing WAN at one of the district's hub sites as well as the district data center located at the Instructional Support Center (ISC). The district is also requesting Category One Network Equipment to support the new location. The district is currently receiving WAN Services through a contract previously procured. Because the District is adding a new site to its WAN, this Form 470 is being posted to solicit bids for E-rate eligible goods and services. HCISD is seeking bids for two (2) circuits, to connect one entity to their respective hub site and the District ISC, via leased dark or lit fiber service. The HCISD Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and/or all proposals and waive all formalities in the bid process.
