Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Cincinnati, Ohio. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The project consists of tree clearing, demolition of the existing CMP culvert under Lakeview Drive, demolition of the nearby parking lot, and installation of a new concrete box culvert, reinforced concrete block mat areas, rock armoring of the stream, and restoration. The project is located on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property that is leased by the Great Parks of Hamilton County. The project has an interim completion date of March 31, 2025 for the required tree protection installation and tree clearing completion. The project has a substantial completion date of November 3, 2025. Bidders are to submit all questions in writing via email to Ron Masella at RMasella@greatparks.org, by Friday, December 13, 2024. Questions received after Friday, December 13, 2024, will not receive a response prior to construction. Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Performance Bond meeting the requirements of Sec. 153.54 & 153.571 O.R.C. executed by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Ohio in the full amount of the proposal, including add alternates. In lieu of a bid bond, a certified check may be substituted, payable to the Owner in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal amount, including add alternates. Great Parks of Hamilton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
