The Contract Documents show and specify the work of the Contracts and related provisions. The Work included, but is not limited to, all work necessary for the construction of the project, as indicated on the Contract Documents. The scope of this project includes replacing the existing multipurpose room Air Handling Unit and all classroom unit ventilators, fan coil units, terminal heating units, and associated piping, controls, and power connections. The existing outside air louvers and wall cavity shall be cleaned and reused. All fans shall be replaced where indicated on the drawings. All controls shall be electric/electronic actuation, direct digital control (DDC) and tie into the county Energy Management System (EMS). All power serving mechanical equipment shall be replaced. Work also includes cutting, patching, painting, flooring, replacement of ceiling systems, etc. as necessary to accomplish this work. All work shall be fully commissioned by an independent commissioning agent by the owner. The contractor shall coordinate and be involved throughout the entire commissioning process. The contractor shall be responsible for removing, storing, protecting, and reinstalling ceiling systems, lights, etc. to perform their work. The contractor is responsible for drain down and refilling the heating water and chilled water system, floor protection, cleaning, patching, and restoring existing conditions. Coordinate summer cleaning activities with WCPS. Existing ceilings shall be replaced in areas of removal and or installation of ductwork and piping. This includes removing, storing and reinstalling ceiling tiles, lights and ceiling mounted devices. The existing electrical distribution system and fire alarm system shall be extended and modified to support theproposed mechanical systems and equipment.
