Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Allen Park, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Section I - Manor Avenue Pavement Replacement (Leslie Ave. to Moore Ave.) Remove approx. 3,250 square feet of existing walk; Remove approx. 11,500 square yards of existing pavement; Remove approx. 150 feet of existing storm pipes; Remove approx. (8) storm structures; Construct approx. 2,250 square feet of 4 inch non-reinforced concrete walk, MDOT Grade S1, 4,000psi, on 4 inch sand Base; Construct approx. 1,500 square yards of 6 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement, MDOT Grade S1, 4,000psi, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base; Construct approx. 10,000 square yards of 8 inch non-reinforced concrete pavement w/integral straight curb, MDOT Grade S1, 4,000psi, on new 6 inch MDOT 21AA Crushed Limestone Base. Paving Machine is required, a Vibratory Screed is Not Allowed; Install approx. 4,650 feet of 6 inch storm underdrain; Install approx. 525 feet of RCP CLIV, C76 storm pipes, 12 inch dia.; Construct (18) storm structures; Install (28) Inlet Filter; All other related work; All inquiries shall be directed to C.E. Raines Company at telephone at 734-285-7510. Each bid proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid bond, certified check, cashier's check, or money order, executed by the Bidder and Surety firm, licensed to perform business in the State of Michigan, and payable to the City of Allen Park in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the accompanying bid. Proposal guarantee shall provide assurance the Bidder will, upon acceptance of the bid, execute the necessary Contract with the City of Allen Park. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish separate Performance, Labor and Material, and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days following the date set for receipt, during which time all bids shall remain in full force and effect. Proposals submitted after the exact time specified for receipt shall not be considered, and proposals submitted by telephone, facsimile, or e-mail shall not be accepted. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all, to waive any informality/technicality in bids received, and to award the contract to any bidder, when such waiver is deemed to best serve the interest of the OWNER. A contract shall be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder as determined by the OWNER. Question Deadline 01/06/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect
