Renovation of a mixed-use development in Robbinsville, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 43,350-square-foot, three-story above grade fire / police facility; and municipal facility.
Alterations at the New Robbinsville Municipal, Court and Police Building. THE PROJECT ENTAILS ALTERATIONS AND RENOVATIONS TO THE EXISTING THREE STORY B-USE OFFICE BUILDING AT 2300 ROUTE 33 ROBBINSVILLE TOWNSHIP, NJ 08691 TO CONVERT THE BUILDING INTO THE NEW ROBBINSVILLE MUNICIPAL, COURT, AND POLICE BUILDING. A NEW STAIR TOWER WILL BE ADDED WITHIN THE BUILDING FOOTPRINT TO MEET EGRESS REQUIREMENTS ON THE SECOND AND THIRD FLOOR. ALL EXISTING STAIRS ARE BEING MAINTAINED AND EXISTING ELEVATORS ARE OPERATIONAL AND TO REMAIN. NEW HVAC EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING NEW ROOFTOP UNITS, VAV BOXES AND DUCTS, WILL BE PROVIDED. ALL EQUIPMENT RELATED TO THE EXISTING DRIVE-THRU TELLER WILL BE REMOVED BUT THE OVERHANG WILL REMAIN FOR COVERED POLICE PARKING. A NEW GARAGE DOOR WILL BE ADDED ON THE FIRST FLOOR TO CREATE A SECURE SALLY PORT. ALL WORK DONE WITHIN THE SECURE PROCESSING AND HOLDING AREAS IS TO CONFORM WITH REQUIREMENTS SET BY THE DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS AND JUVENILLE JUSTICE COMMISSION. THE EXISTING EMERGENCY GENERATOR IS OPERATIONAL AND WILL REMAIN. THE EXISTING BUILDING IS FULLY SPRINKLERED AND HAS FIRE ALARMS WHICH WILL BE MAINTAINED AND ADJUSTED TO ACCOMMODATE THE NEW LAYOUTS. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be submitted by email to both Marlene Borruso at mborruso@usaarchitects.com and Samantha Bard sbard@usaarchitects.com by 4:00 PM on December 17th, 2024. The Township assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail, or delivery service that cause the bid to be received at the Municipal Clerk's Office later than the above-referenced scheduled opening. The Township reserves the right to reject any bid received after the date and time set forth herein. The Township reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in accordance with the New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law (N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et. Seq.,), or to waive minor, immaterial defects as may be permitted by law.
