The Jones County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids OPEN BID FOR JONES COUNTY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT BUILDING o 50'x 100' x 6" 3000 psi mix with no fly ash o 30"w x 30"w x 36"d square piers under all side columns with 3 - #4 rebar mats at 8", 16", & 24" in each pier o Perimeter footings 20"w x 12"d o Cross footings 20"w x 12"d located at each side column that run from side to side o All footing shall have 3 - #4 rebars 4" off bottom offootings, rebars bent around corners, and overlapped a minimum of 36" at ends o All rebars to be tied at ends with wire tires and to rebar stands o 6" x 6" x 8' x 20' 6 gauge wire mats installed on 3" wire chairs o Wire mats shall be overlapped a minimum of 6" on ends/sides and tied every 24" o 6 mil visqueen shall be placed under all concrete o Preset all anchors bolts for columns in wet concrete o Slab shall be cut with soff-cut concrete saw as soon as concrete is hard enough to support unit BID SPECIFICATIONS: o 50' x 100' x 16' with 2/12 roofpitch, 146 mph wind rated Engineered Red Iron Metal Building o 26 gauge PBR galvalume prime roofing materials o 26 gauge PBR colored wall prime materials o 26 gauge colored trim prime materials o 3" fiberglass insulation for all walls & roof o 4 - 3' x 7' commercial metal doors, jambs, & lock sets o 5 - 14' x 14' model 201 ASTA roll up doors installed o 5- Heavy duty electric door openers with wall push buttons and two remotes for each door o Eave trim only (no gutters) o Rough in plumbing to consist of 1 - %" water inlet, 2 commodes, 2 bath lavatories, 1 shower, and 1 kitchen sink. Include 3 - 4" floor drains o 1 - 36" slant wall exhaust fan with shutter in one gable and 1- 48" air inlet with screen and shutter on the opposite gable end Concrete Slab: NOTES: There will be an option for a 50' x 20' x 6" concrete slab for the optional roof extension. Specifications for concrete shall be the same as main building. o Slab to be cut long ways every 16'- 6" and side ways every 20" on center Bidder must be a state licensed contractor. Bidder must furnish: o Material Purchase Certificate o 1 million dollars workers comp insurance << 2 million production completion insurance o 6 million in general liability insurance o Provide a stamped engineered drawing before building is installed o Copy oflicense o Bidder must be able to install slab and building with in 60 days after bid is awarded
