The project will include an overall upgrade of the Chaffee Brook Pump Station's process equipment, controls, electrical systems, and standby power system. The upgrades will also include select building and support system improvements to provide increased flood-protection. A bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum bid price and in the form of a certified check or Bid bond issued by surety meeting the requirements of the General Conditions. No bid may be withdrawn for at least 60 days after receipt of bids unless released by the Owner. The contractor must comply with Davis-Bacon (DB) and Davis-Bacon Related Acts (DBRA) as stated in the CWSRF Supplementary Conditions. All laborers and mechanics employed by the contractor and subcontractors on this project shall not be paid less than the prevailing wage rates contained in the wage determination published in the bidding documents. Any laborers and mechanics not listed in the wage determination shall be paid at least as much as the lowest wage rate for other similar trade classifications already contained in the wage determination published in the bidding documents. The Contractor and subcontractors shall use the Bation Systems software, made available by the State of Maine Department of Environmental Protection, for uploading their certified weekly payroll. Payroll noncompliance and other related payroll issues identified by the software shall be resolved by the contractor/subcontractor in the software and in a timely manner to maintain compliance with Davis Bacon requirements throughout the project Question Deadline 01/20/2025 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
