General maintenance and repair of generators and transfer switches. SCOPE OF WORK The County of Volusia is seeking competitive bids for onsite repair and maintenance of Volusia County's emergency stand-by generators and transfer switches on an as-needed basis. Contractor(s) shall be trained, certified by the manufacturer to perform maintenance and repairs on the brands of generators and transfer switches for which the Contractor submits bids. Contractors are not required to bid on all manufacturers listed in Attachment A - Price Sheet. It is anticipated that the County will award to multiple Contractor(s). The Invitation to Bid (ITB) response and all required forms must be submitted/signed by an official authorized to legally bind the Respondent to all Invitation to Bid (ITB) provisions. A Memorandum of Authority may be submitted, to document that the individual is authorized to commit the firm to a contract. Question Submission Deadline: December 13, 2024, 11:59pm. This project is not funded by monies that prohibit the local preference provision and local preference does apply per the General Terms and Conditions section Local Preference. The County is looking to promote partnership relationships within the policies and procedures of public procurement. Pursuant toward that end, the successful Respondent shall be awarded an Agreement for an initial three (3) year term with the option for two (2) subsequent one (1) year renewals. All renewals will be contingent upon mutual written agreement and, when applicable, approval of County Council.
