Souris River Joint Board is inviting interested parties capable of providing agency construction management (ACM) services to submit a proposal and qualifications to assist the SRJB construct the Mouse River Park Bridge. Project description of proposed public improvement: The SRJB, a North Dakota politicalsubdivision, is a joint water resource district formed under N.D.C.C. 61-16.1-11 between the water resource districts of the counties of Renville, Ward, McHenry, and Bottineau. The SRJB has entered into an agreement with the North Dakota Department of Water Resources, which obligates the SRJB to provide local sponsorship, cooperation, and coordination of the Mouse River Enhanced Flood Protection Project (MREFPP), a public, multi-phased project intended to provide flood risk reduction to the Mouse River basin lying in North Dakota. The MREFPP was initiated following the Mouse River flood of 2011. As the local project sponsor, the SRJB is authorized to enter into agreements that relate to the MREFPP. The SRJB is seeking to construct the Mouse River Park Bridge, which is a project feature of the MREFPP. The Mouse River Park Bridge has already been designed by professional engineers. The SRJB is utilizing the Agency Construction Management project delivery method authorized under N.D.C.C. 48-01.2 to elicit bids from multiple contractors and subcontractors. The SRJB needs a qualified construction management advisor to assist the SRJB to achieve this goal.
