Site work for a civil project in Hardisty, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Bridge File 01459, NW 18-42-11-W4M Carrying Range Road 120 over a Tributary to Iron Creek, 20 km SW of Hardisty Bridge File 01459 (NW 18-42-11 W4) located 25 km south of Sedgewick on Range Road 120. Work includes the removal of the existing 8.5m HC girder bridge on a timber treated substructure and replacement with a new 6.0m SL-510 girder bridge on a steel substructure. Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing single span 8.5 m HC girder bridge on a treated timber substructure and the installation of a new 6.0 m SL-510 concrete girder bridge on a steel substructure. The crossing is located on a local road over a Tributary to Iron Creek, 25 km south of Sedgewick. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractor's convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: Traffic Accommodation Total Suspended Solids (TSS) Testing Water Management Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure Headslope Preparation and Backfill Supply, Set-up, and Driving of Piling Abutment and Wingwall Construction Supply, Delivery, and Erection of Prestressed SL-510 Interior and Exterior Precast Units Supply and Installation of Bridgerail and Guardrail Roadway Work Supply and Placement of Class 1 Heavy Rock Riprap
