Temple University ("Temple") is seeking qualified contractors to bid on work for the Electrical Construction Package for the new Klein CPCA Building Project ("Project") at Temple University, located at 1830 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA. Question Cut Off 2/12/25 @ 2:00pm KEY MILESTONE DATES Start Demolition Work by Site Demolition and Bulk Excavation Prime Contractor - 1/13/2025 Start On Site Work of General Prime Contractor, Mechanical-HVAC Prime Contractor, Electrical Prime Contractor and Plumbing and Fire Protection Prime Contractor - 4/14/2025 Begin FF&E and AV Installation - 4/1/2027 Required Substantial Completion Date for Project - 6/1/2027 Building Ready to Begin Occupant Move In - 7/1/2027 Building Ready to Open to the Public - 8/15/2027 JOB NO. PS-301120 The Project will be a new facility for the Klein College of Media and Communication and The Center for Performing and Cinematic Arts (CPCA). The Project is planned to be a new ground up mixed-use building that will be located on Broad Street. This new state-of-the-art facility will include 146,000 GSF for academic programs and a 52,000 GSF theater program for a project total of approximately 198,000 GSF. The new facility will consolidate uses from other campus locations. The program consists of classrooms, studios, faculty offices, administrative offices, and student areas. The Project is seeking LEEDv4 Silver certification and WELLv2 Silver certification. The Scope of Work for the Electrical Construction Package shall include all necessary services, Work, labor, materials, supervision, tools, supplies, equipment, insurance, and applicable taxes necessary to complete Electrical Construction Package as shown in the Contract Documents for the above referenced Project. The Scope of Work for the Electrical Construction Package is further specified in the Agreement, the Scope of Work.
