The mission of the Infrastructure Services group is to provide highly available, flexible, robust, and advanced network and voice communication infrastructure in an efficient, cost effective and timely manner for The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) user's community in support of the institution's strategic mission for Tier One Research and the advancement of knowledge and the pursuit of excellence. During the term of the Agreement (if any), Contractor will provide all or any portion of the Services on a perproject basis ("Project(s)") as requested by University in accordance with the terms of the Agreement. The specific scope of work for each Project will be determined in advance and in writing between University and Contractor as more particularly described below. University shall meet with Contractor to discuss the intended scope and specific Services to be provided by Contractor for the Project, and the schedule of the Project, subsequent to such meeting, and upon request by University, Contractor will prepare and provide to University a Project proposal ("Project Proposal") in accordance with the Service Fees, and in a format as requested by University. Should University select Contractor to complete the Project, University will issue to Contractor an official, signed University purchase order that incorporates the Project Plan. Contractor shall begin performance of the Services related to the Project Plan immediately upon receipt of such purchase order. Should University enter into an Agreement as a result of this RFP, the initial term of the Agreement shall be upon award through December 31, 2026. Thereafter, University shall have the option to renew the Agreement for up to two (2) additional renewal terms of twelve months (12 months) each, with a final expiration date of December 31, 2028.
