** As of January 29, 2025, project was awarded to Brooks Construction, awarded amount is $ 411,392.00. ** The City of Bluffton intends to resurface two basketball courts and make parking lot improvements at Roush Park. The work includes, but not limited to, basketball court resurfacing, concrete sidewalk construction, removal/ milling of asphalt pavement, asphalt surfacing, and site restoration as specified in the Contract Documents. All applicable laws, ordinances, and the rules and regulations of all authorities having jurisdiction over the project shall apply to the project throughout. No bid shall be withdrawn after the bid opening date without the consent of the City for a period of thirty days. The City of Bluffton, Indiana reserves the right to reject all bids, waive defects and amend the Project's scope. The Bidder shall furnish to the Owner all such information and data for this purpose as the Owner may request. The Owner reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by, or investigation of, such Bidder fails to satisfy the Owner that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Agreement and to construct the project. Based on preliminary information provided to us, it is desired to evaluate the existing pavement thicknesses and characterize the underlying subsurface soil conditions. The information provided in this report will be used by ERI and the owner in remediating the existing pavement and/or preparing civil-related plans. WORK INCLUDES: A. Removal of trees and plantings. Underground utility piping as identified on the site plans. B. Storm sewer piping materials. C. Water Main piping materials. D. Materials shall be neatly stored on site. Excavated material shall be neatly stockpiled if not immediately removed from the site. Streets, driveways, and sidewalks shall be kept clear and open. A.
