The State of California (State), Department of General Services (DGS), Facilities Management Division (FMD) manages, maintains and operates state buildings and grounds statewide, pursuant to Government Code Section 14685 (a), which authorizes DGS to establish rules and regulations for the government and maintenance of state buildings and grounds. FMD is procuring services for Boiler and Chiller maintenance and repairs on state property in Sacramento area. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials required to provide Boiler and Chiller services for the equipment identified in Exhibit A, Attachment 1, Equipment List. Service shall include the following: 1. Preventive Maintenance 2. Testing 3. Repairs 4. Technical Support Services The Services will be performed at the following locations: 1. Swing Space Building (Building #034) 1021 O Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 2. March Fong Eu Secretary of State Building (Building #036) 1500 11th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 3. Blue Anchor Building (Building #091) 1400 10th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814 The anticipated term of this contract will be three (3) years. A bidder must possess and maintain, at all times during the term of this agreement, a valid C-4 Boiler, Hot Water Heating and Steam Fitting, C-20 Warm-Air Heating, Ventilation, and AirConditioning license issued by the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Contractors State License Board. Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 10115 subdivision (c) and Military and Veterans Code (MVC) section 999.2 subdivision (a), Bidders must meet a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation goal. The required participation for this agreement is 3%. Bidder must document the required DVBE program participation on Attachment 3, Bidder Declaration (GSPD-05-105). OBAS is not required to award a contract. OBAS reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in bids received and to accept all or any portion of a bid, if deemed in the best interest of the State and not contrary to law. OBAS's waiver of any immaterial deviation or defect will in no way modify the IFB documents or excuse the contractor from full compliance with the IFB specification, if awarded the contract.
