Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The project rehabilitates Clarifiers #1 through #6 and Thickeners #1 and #2 at the Jeffersonville Downtown WWTP. The scope includes the replacement of all internal steel mechanisms in Clarifiers #1 through #4 with Stainless Steel 304 components, retaining existing walkways, clarifier drives, and fiberglass-reinforced plastic components. Clarifiers #5 and #6 will undergo sandblasting and repainting of all internal steel mechanisms. Sludge Thickeners #1 and #2 will have all internal mechanisms replaced with SS 304, along with the replacement of walkways and thickener drives. Additional work includes replacing wall and floor pressure relief valves, concrete crack filling, sacrificial grout replacement, installing electric actuators for the weir gates, and associated site work, site piping, electrical, and instrumentation. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum, with alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The Sewer Board of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana, reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in bidding. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder's date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office
