Introduction: The Town of Weare, NH is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for the repair services for cemetery monuments located in the Eaton Cemetery and Sugar Hill Cemetery located off Route 77 (Concord Stage Road). This RFP outlines the requirements for these services and invites interested parties to submit their proposals. The scope of work includes inspection to thoroughly examine the monuments to assess the extent of damage; repair by fixing structural damage, resetting leaning or displaced stones and repairing broken components. Scope of Work: The project was previously looked at in the fall of 2024 and broken down into three (3) priorities for repair and restoration, as follows: o Priority #1: Leaning, soon to fall or break. Needs to be leveled and reset with concrete to prevent further damage. Approximate quantity: 105 in Eaton and 13 in Sugar Hill. o Priority #2: Down, laying on the ground. Needs to be stood upright, leveled and set in concrete to minimize further damage. Approximate quantity: 5 in Eaton and 3 in Sugar Hill. o Priority #3: Down and broken. Needs to be stood up with aluminum channel supports and concrete to prevent further damage. Approximate quantity: 14 in Eaton and 3 in Sugar Hill. o Total headstones in scope of work: 143 Additional Information: o Site visits may be arranged upon request. Award Process: The contract will be awarded based on the evaluation of proposals. The Town of Weare, NH reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals received.
