Construction of a new two-story concession stand building to be located at the Long Beach Sports Complex. The contractor's scope should include the following: 1. Construction of the entire building shell that includes; a. Building foundation b. Exterior and interior walls c. Installation of windows, EIFS system, and finish exterior paint d. Entire roof system e. Electrical rough-in (includes all pathways and conductor) f. Plumbing rough-in (no fixtures) g. Installation of all vent piping through the roof or building exterior h. Installation of the fire alarm panel and CAT 6 cable from the fire alarm panel to the the communications rack. i. Installation of all doors. F. Owner's Scope: 1. The owner's scope will include the following: a. Pulling of all CAT 6 cable for telecommunication, security cameras, and intercom. b. Installation of HVAC system c. Installation of hood vents, grills, and exhaust fans d. Installation of gyp ceiling (float, finish, and paint) e. Installation of all millwork shown in the plans. f. Finish paint on all interior walls and ceiling. g. Installation of floor finish and base trim h. Installation of all plumbing fixtures. i. Installation of all light fixtures, switches, fire alarm devices, receptacles, security system, and security cameras. Your offer will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 60 days after submission. Bidders will be required to provide Bid security in the form of a bid bond or a certified check for a sum no less than 5 percent of the Bid Amount. After the opening of bids they may be held by the Owner for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of submittal for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Vendor/Contractor equipment prior to awarding of the Purchase.
