Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in McAlester, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of McAlester will be accepting sealed bids to have the Airport Terminal Parking Lot Replaced. Question Deadline 12/20/2024 at 5:00 PM CT All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Airport Manager as follows: City Hall Attn: Chase Tindle PO Box 578 McAlester, OK 74502 chase.tindle@cityofmcalester.com The scope of work for the McAlester Regional Airport Terminal Parking Lot Replacement is as follows: 1. Remove approximately 16,000 s.f. of existing pavement, sidewalk, curb, and gutters. 2. Install "ODOT Type A" aggregate for subgrade (if needed) and compact subgrade appropriately. 3. Reinstall parking lot pavement back to original grade and centered vertically in the new pavement. a. "ODOT Class AA" mix design b. No 3. rebar placed on 18" centers c. 5" minimum pavement thickness 4. Reinstall sidewalks, curbs, and gutters back to original location and grade. 5. Re-stripe parking stalls to include a minimum of two (2) ADA handicap stalls 6. Contractor will be responsible for maintaining traffic control devices for the duration of the project. 7. Any subgrade exposed that is not covered by rigid pavement will need to be graded, as well as seeded or sodded, and watered until vegetation is established. 8. An aerial photo of the work area, as well as a detailed drawing of the parking stall layout, will be provided with this bid packet.
