The Work under this Contract will consist of furnishing all labor, materials and performing all work necessary for the following construction: Installation of a sanitary sewer extension along East 53rd Street and Gulick Street to support future developments in the area. Question Deadline 01/06/2025 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract documents shall be submitted to Engineer in writing no later than four days prior to the time set for receipt of bids. furnishing all labor and materials and performing all work necessary The project begins west of the intersection of 53rd St & US64 and includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a 12 in. sanitary sewer line - consisting of PVC and ductile iron pipe - sanitary sewer manholes, concrete pavement repair, and the installation of sediment and erosion control devices. The construction of the sanitary sewer line will require jacking and boring in various locations. The contract shall be bid and awarded on a lump sum basis. Bid items listed in the bid manual are only provided to establish a unit price for each bid item. The whole work under this contract will be awarded as a single contract to the lowest responsible bidder for the work. No bid may be withdrawn for at least forty-five (45) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond, or Cashier's Check upon any solvent Bank or Trust Company, payable without reserve to the Muskogee City County Port Authority, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bid security of the two low bidders will be retained until approval of contract and execution of satisfactory bonds by the successful bidder, or until other disposition on the bids is made. The bonds required will be a Payment Bond, a Performance Bond, each in the full amount of the contract. The Port will not accept letters of credit in lieu of any bond required herein. The bidder (Proposer) must supply all the information required by the bid and proposal form including completion of affidavits or his bid will be considered incomplete and therefore rejected. The contract shall be awarded on a lump sum basis as follows: the Total Base Bid Amount including any properly submitted and received bid modifications plus such successive Additive Bid items as the Owner in its discretion decides to award in the manner set forth in Instruction for bidders. The Port may request of any bidder, before his bid is considered for award, that he submit a statement of facts as to his previous experience in performing work of the same character and magnitude, as to his business and technical organization, and financial resources and plant available and to be use in performing the contemplated work. Each bidder must have such information, together with a recent financial statement, available upon request. The Muskogee City County Port Authority reserves the right to evaluate bids, to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in any bid.
