Work under this agreement shall consist of providing Fire Alarm Maintenance for the Hawaii State Department of Education on the Island of Oahu for Group II - EST/Edwards Fire Alarm Systems and shall be in accordance with these Special Conditions, the attached Specifications, and the General Conditions AG-008 (latest revision). Vendors having questions regarding the project must submit them in writing to the Project Coordinator. Questions must be received no later than 14 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. Addenda and/or bid clarifications (if required) will be issued no later than 7 calendar days prior to the bid closing date. Start of Service Date: 03/01/2025 End of Service Date: 02/28/2026 The POC or their representative reserves the right to have any work performed on the weekends or after normal operating hours. The STATE shall compensate the CONTRACTOR at a rate of one and one-half (150%) their Hourly Rate bid price specified on the Offer Page, for work performed on weekends or after normal operating hours. Question Deadline 12/13/2024 Discrepancies, omissions, or questions related to this solicitation shall be communicated in writing to the Hawaii State Department of Education, Cheng-Hsing Chang, via telephone at 808-382-5166, via facsimile at 808-831-6750, or via e-mail at cheng-hsin.chang@k12.hi.us for interpretation and must be received no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the date fixed for the close of bids.
