Paving Improvements @ 3 Sites Contract Time shall be (45) calendar days from Notice to Proceed, and liquidated damages for delay shall accrue. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the amount of the base bid and made payable to the Owner. Pursuant to the Contract Documents, the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, and a Faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum, as set forth in the Contract Documents. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS: Bids may be withdrawn by bidders prior to the time fixed for the submittal of bids or any authorized postponement thereof. A successful bidder shall not be relieved of the bid unless by consent of the Owner or bidder's recourse to Public Contract Code 5100 et seq. Unless otherwise required by law, no bidder may withdraw its bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof or any extension thereof. The owner reserves the right to take more than sixty (60) days to make a decision regarding rejection of the bid or award of the Contract.
