As of January 21, 2025, per addendum 3, the bid date has been extended from Jan. 21, 2025 to Jan. 24, 2025. Pickwell Park is located on the South East side of San Antonio in Council District 3. The Park received $500,000 in 2022 bond funds. In addition, the park has additional 2022 bond funds as part of the citywide pickleball project, council district funding to expand the playground as an all-abilities playground, and tree mitigation funding to address adding shade trees and irrigation for the park. Park improvements to include Demolition, site work, concrete slabs for pickleball courts and basketball courts, fencing, playground expansion with pour-in-place surfacing, shade structure, trail lighting upgrades, parking modifications, tree plantings and irrigation. The estimated construction budget for this contract is $1,300,000.00. There are four (4) alternates for this project.
