UNLV has a requirement for an experienced contractor for the Cox Pavilion Reroof Project. A. To install: An attached 80 mil single-ply PVC roofing membrane utilizing Rhinobond attachment including flashings and other components, to comprise a roofing system for the structure of interest. 1. The existing Single Ply roofing system is to be removed down to the existing metal deck. 2. Existing equipment curbs and walls are to be flashed with 60 mil PVC membrane. New equipment curbs are to receive 60 mil PVC fiberglass-reinforced flashing membrane. 3. Provide and install a new layer of 3.3"/R19 polysio insulation (tapered insulation where required) and one new layer of 1/2 " Dens-deck roof board is to be mechanically fastened directly to the substrate using #15 Fasteners and Rhinobond plates in accordance with Section 3.05 of this specification. 4. Provide and install a new 80mil PVC, polyester-reinforced, PVC membrane, it is to be welded to the new Rhinobond plates in accordance with Section 3.06 of this specification. 5. The color of the membrane is to be EnergySmart White. Install a new clad metal detail at perimeter edge where required per the following specification and detail requirements. Install per PVC manufacturer's detail and installation requirements. 6. Install new surface mounted counter flashing where required. Install per PVC manufacturer's detail and installation requirements. 7. At all A/C or Mechanical unit access areas, install new Tred walkway. Install per PVC manufacturer's recommended detail and installation requirements. 8. Flash each penetration with a cone flashing membrane per PVC manufacture's standard written and detail requirements. Any and all pitch pans are to removed and each penetration flashed individually. 9. Flash new scuppers with new pvc clad metal per PVC manufacturer's standard written and detail requirements. 1. 10. A 20 Year Systems Warranty shall be provided to the Owner upon completion as described in Section 1.0 of this specification. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount ("Bid Security"). A copy of the Bid Security shall be uploaded on NGEM System. If requested, the original Bid Security should be delivered to the front desk of UNLV Purchasing, Campus Services Building, Room 119, Las Vegas, Nevada 89154-1033 by 5:00 p.m. the next business day following the Opening Date. Upon Notice of Intent to Award, the Successful Bidder must obtain Performance and Payment bonds equivalent to the amount bid. Bonds may be in the format attached or may use AIA Formats. Bonds must be submitted within five (5) days of receiving the Notice of Intent to Award letter. Required bonds and insurance must be furnished prior to the Contract being awarded and becoming binding.
