The Board of Commissioners of Glynn County, Georgia ("the Owner") seeks Qualification responses from interested qualified Engineering firms to provide general engineering services as cited in the program services portion of this RFQ. It is the intent of the County to establish a pool of qualified Engineering Firms to utilize for 12 months for general Engineering services. The County intends to establish this pool, and to use this pool to solicit quotes for services required in that 12-month period. Glynn County is located on the Southeastern part of the State of Georgia. Its Northern boundary is formed by the Altamaha River, Wayne and Brantley Counties on the west, Camden County on the south, and the Atlantic Ocean on the east. As a favorable consequence of its geology, the County has the Port of Brunswick. The Port has been of immense economic benefits to Glynn County. By roadway, Brunswick is located: 78 miles from Savannah, 315 miles from Atlanta, 225 miles from Macon, 262 miles from Columbus, and 180 miles from Albany. Jacksonville, Florida is located 79 miles from Brunswick. All Questions and Answers submitted will be posted to the website no later than August 23rd, 2013. Answers to questions submitted that materially change the conditions and specifications of this Request for Qualifications will be promulgated to all addressees as an addendum. Respondents shall not contact County employees, Department Heads, Evaluation Committee Members or Elected Officials with questions or any other concerns about the solicitation. Any discussions or documents will be considered non-binding unless incorporated and promulgated in an addendum. Intended Date for Contract Award: January 16, 2025 Pool Members will remain in the Pool for a period of one (1) year after execution of the Agreement. The County may terminate the Contract and end the Pool at any time, for any reason or no reason, by providing written notice to the Pool Members.
