Demolition, site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Woodbridge, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Involve excavation, grading, installation and cleaning of drainage and stormwater treatment systems, embankment, paving and resurfacing, hardscape and landscape (including tree planting), retaining walls, utility (electrical, sewer, plumbing, etc.) work, fencing, painting, guide rail, signing, demolition, electrical and mechanical installations, and other general construction work. The work will be asdirected by the Engineer by work orders with approximate quantities for a period of two (2) years from the date of Notice of Award and shall terminate on the date two years after the date of the Notice of Award. The Engineer will have two, one year, options to extend the contract. Bidders must be prequalified under Contract Classification 4 - General Construction, Highway, Rating up to $5 Million Maximum, prior to the receipt of bids. For proposals submitted by joint ventures, each member of the joint venture must be prequalified in the Contract Classification, and the sum of the ratings held by each member must be within 10 percent of the total price bid by the joint venture. In cases where the sum of the ratings exceeds $10 million, the joint venture's rating will be Unlimited. All Bidders must comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. relating to affirmative action rules prohibiting discrimination in employment and requiring affirmative action in performance of Contracts awarded to the successful Bidder. Prequalification or renewal of prequalification must be received by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority's (the "Authority") Engineering Department no later than December 13th, 2024.
