Washroom renovations for a new modernized washroom layout which will optimize space, circulation, and usability. A project is required to design a new modernized washroom layout which will optimize space, circulation, and usability. Location of sink, urinals and showers can be moved to achieve best use of the space. This washroom supports approximately 16 staff members. Consultant will be required to review code and advise on requirements to suit occupancy. Accessibility to be considered during the technical investigation stage. Client will supply a mock up of a possible new layout, however, recommendations to be made based code requirements and consultant's expertise. Design to include support selecting new lockers to be ordered and installed by the client. Lockers to be included in the proposed layouts. Project will supply and install new wall coverings, floors, ceiling tiles and lights (LED) where possible while respecting the heritage values of the building. A radiator is currently installed within the space. Consultant to review/confirm the redundancy of the radiator and remove/relocate as required to suit the new layout. Consultant to verify adequacy of current mechanical system/airflow/ventilation/drainage etc. and provide necessary adjustments. Project to be completed within a heritage building; consultant to ensure appropriate measures are taken to review impacts on heritage features and design considers heritage conservation best practices.
