Reference Number 0000370078 Question Deadline 01/07/2025 at 2:00 PM ET In the event that the City shall require certified supporting data regarding the qualifications of the Bidder in order to determine whether the Bidder is a responsible Bidder, the Bidder will be required to complete and furnish a Confidential Questionnaire within forty-eight (48) hours of the request by the City Engineer or Purchasing Agent. PROJECT ESTIMATE: $2,120,000 This Project includes new MWBE and Workforce Goals (reference Sections SLR 19 and SLR 20), and consists Hazardous Sidewalk Replacement in the Northeast Quadrant. This project consists of improving existing sidewalk conditions by removing and replacing, or where possible, repairing sidewalk flags at various locations within a portion of the Northeast Quadrant of the City of Rochester, referred to as the Target Quadrant, and other areas outside of the Target Areas as ordered by the Project Manager. Refer to the Special Notes section (SN pages) of this document for the boundaries of the Quadrant area. A listing of streets in the contract area with estimated quantities is provided within the Special Notes section. A final sequential listing will be provided for locating proposed sidewalk flags in need of improvement during construction. The contractor shall proceed in ascending section order or in a sequence so ordered by the Project Manager. A map illustrating the areas scheduled for sidewalk repair is given within the Special Notes section of this contract document. Additional requests for sidewalk repairs within the Northeast Quadrants will be received throughout the time period of this contract. Additional sidewalk repairs will be added to this contract and must be completed prior to the end of the contract period. Notice to Proceed with construction activities is anticipated in April 2025. The Special Notes section of this Contract contains a suggested repair order. The Contract must be completed within 210 calendar days, not including a winter shutdown. All Construction is to be completed by November 15, 2025. REQUIREMENTS: This Contract Contains an Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training requirements; and MWBE and Workforce Goals Requirements.
