The R.M. of Orkney No. 244 invites tenders for the provision and hauling of the 2025 annual maintanence gravel. o The gravel haul for the Municipality will consist of the provision, loading, hauling and spreading 3/4 " crushed road gravel meeting SARM specifications of type 106 or 108 which must be specified on the bid submission for the 2025 regular road maintenance gravel. o The RM reserves the right to have the gravel analyzed to ensure it meets specifications both prior to any agreement and during the haul. o The Municipality's average usage is approximately 25,000 yards. o Tentative start date for hauling will be no later than July 15, 2025. o Hauling to be completed no later than August 30, 2025. o Contractors invoices must state the amount of gravel that was placed on each road and the cost for the placement o The Municipality has two stock piles of approximately 5,000 yards each of gravel to which the existing gravel may be required to be hauled from o Location 1 - SW 16-25-06-W2 o Location 2 - SW 6-27-06-W2. Council reserves the right to not accept the lowest or any tender. Only the successful tender will be contacted. Tender information is provided in the documention. This tender may result in a two-year term agreement with the consideration of fuel prices. The Municipality reserves the right to refuse or to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest tender may not necessarily be accepted, nor may this tender result in a contract. o The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality. o It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that their quotation is complete upon submission. o Oral and telephone tenders will not be considered. o Council has the discretionary authority to contract more than one contractor for all or part of the completion of the 2025, Regular Road Maintenance gravel
