The Town of Tyngsborough is seeking sealed bids from qualified vendors for the delivery of building cleaning services at the Old Town Hall and First Parish Meeting House. These services shall be delivered on an as-needed basis post events and will involve general cleaning including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, washing surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, and washing windows among other items. All products required for this job will be provided by the Town. In accordance with M.G.L. c30B, the Town of Tyngsborough (Town) is soliciting bids from experienced contractors for building cleaning services as requested by the Town. The Town offers the First Parish Meeting House and Old Town Hall for rent by private organizations and individuals. Qualified contractors are requested to submit bids to the Town Manager at Tyngsborough Town Hall, 25 Bryant Lane, Tyngsborough, MA, in accordance with the instructions contained within this Invitation for Bids. The IFB and contract do not guarantee that the chosen bidder will be the exclusive vendor to perform this type of work for the town. The Town of Tyngsborough is seeking to award a twelve-month (one-year) contract with two, one (1) year extensions at the sole discretion of the Town. The Town will provide written confirmation of renewal at least sixty (60) days prior to the end of the contract period. The Town may cancel this IFB or reject in whole or in part any and all bids, if it determines that cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the Town. It is anticipated that the contract will be awarded within thirty (30) days after the submittal deadline.
