A firm timeline for construction will not be known for another 6 months. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The City of Gahanna is seeking a contract with a professional services team for the design of pond improvements at Woodside Green and Hannah Parks. The City of Gahanna is seeking a contract with a professional consulting firm for design of one pond at Woodside Green and three ponds at Hannah Park. The design goals of this project are to develop detailed design plans for dredging, pond and recreational improvements and beneficial sediment reuse as feasible or disposal for these four ponds. These designs should maximize water quality, improve aesthetics, and minimize costs, and utilize sustainable practices as feasible. The scope of services for this project will include field and planning services required to support detailed design and permitting, identification of and preparation for all required permitting for both construction and dredge material disposal/ beneficial use, preparation of construction bidding documents, construction cost estimating, and construction-phase services. For all major deliverables and project milestones, the City shall be given a minimum of two weeks to review materials and deliverables, and a review meeting shall be scheduled with the City and consulting firm. February 11, 2025: Notice to Proceed to Selected Consultant (Anticipated) August 11, 2025: Completion of Design and Permitting Upon reviewing and scoring all submitted Proposals, the City reserves the right to shortlist qualified Teams for advancement. Presentation/Interviews may be required for shortlisted project teams. The City will enter into a contract with the selected consultant using Gahanna's standard Professional Services Contract.
