Reference Number 0000370515 The University of Utah (University) on behalf of UIT is seeking a high performance UPS battery supplier (Vendor). Proposed items or systems must be able to provide services as described in the attached scope of work and minimum specifications. Please Note: Uit Will Have 10 Business Days After Confirmed Receipt of Delivery Within Which to Notify the Purchasing Department and the Supplier of Any Batteries Not Passing Inspection. Any Batteries Not Passing Inspection Will Be Considered Refused and Be Returned to Supplier at No Cost to the University of Utah. Inspection Will Consist of Individual Voltage Testing, Must Pass at 13.0v or Higher Value, Visual Inspection, Disqualifiers Would Be Corroded Terminals, Damage to Casing, and or Leakage. Qty 360 on the following UPS batteries. NARADA 12HRL550, High-Rate Long Life UPS battery, or, if evaluated and approved, an equivalently rated battery appropriate for the application.
