Demolition, site work, renovation and addition to a municipal facility in Rensselaer Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
Phase 1 work includes the construction of the new library and community room exterior building shell, including complete exterior foundation, walls, roof and windows, siding, roofing, and trim, exterior sidewalks, and exterior lighting and plumbing rough-in below slab; interior concrete slab and interior partitions rough framed. Scope includes working around and reconnecting to existing drilled well, and structural connection to existing Village office building, including tying in to and reroofing existing building. Contract Time and Liquidated Damages: Substantial completion shall be no later 1st July 2025. Liquidated damages of up to one hundred dollars ($100.) per calendar day may be assessed for late Substantial Completion. 10. An MWBE/SDVBE participation goal of 15% MBE, 15% WBE and 6% SDVBE of the contract amount is required. The successful bidder will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. The Owner reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids or to enter into negotiations with any bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any alleged breach of technicality
