PROJECT INFORMATION A. Notice to Bidders: Qualified bidders are invited to submit bids for Project as described in this Document according to the Instructions to Bidders. B. Owner's Representative: Kaci Nobles (Director of Facilities). D. Architect: Altman + Barrett Architects, P.O. Box 665 Hahira, GA 31632. E. Project Description: Project consists of complete replacement of existing wall mounted heat pumps and dedicated outside air units, miscellaneous duct replacement/installation, replacement of control system, and miscellaneous painting. F. Construction Contract: Bids will be received for the following Work: 1. General Contract (all trades). BID SECURITY A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of [5] percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of [60] days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. DOCUMENTS Viewing Procurement and Contracting Documents: Examine after December 11, 2024, at the website. TIME OF COMPLETION A. Successful bidder shall begin procuring materials on receipt of the Notice to Proceed (est. January 29, 2025) and shall complete the Work prior to July 31, 2025. Bidder shall submit with the bid form an estimated material procurement timeline along with an estimated construction timeline. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Project consists of complete replacement of existing wall mounted heat pumps and dedicated outside air units, miscellaneous duct replacement/installation, replacement of control system, painting, and ceiling removal/reinstallation. B. Type of Contract: 1. Project will be constructed under a single prime contract BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder.
