Site work for a water / sewer project in Magnolia, Texas. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Magnolia (hereafter "City") is seeking professional engineering services from a qualified engineering firm for preliminary engineering, final design and construction phase services on a water line replacement project within the city limits. The project is along an existing local street named Connie Avenue and the following is a general description of the anticipated improvements for the project: 1. Replacement of existing 2" and 3" water line with new PVC water line, valves, fittings, fire hydrants, and other applicable appurtenances. Final size of new water line will be determined during Design Phase, but it is anticipated to be a minimum of 8" diameter and no larger than 12" diameter. 2. Connection to existing water distribution system. 3. Installation of new service lines and connection to existing meters (including adjustment of existing meter settings, when required). 4. Pavement repairs, as required. 5. Grading and re-establish vegetation. 6. Possible tree removal from public right-of-way. 7. Adjustments to existing gravity sanitary sewer collection system when required to replace install new water line. 8. Other miscellaneous improvements as required for a complete and operational project.
