Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Working plans call for the construction of a military facility; for site work for a military facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project scope of work consists of construction of a SOF Mission Command Center (MCC) at the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) Main Compound, Fort Liberty, NC, for approximately 290 personnel. The building space requirements are similar to Category Code 14190, Echelons Above Brigade (EAB) Command & Control Facility (C2F), however the facility will not follow the standard design due to the unique needs of the JSOC mission and security requirements. The building will be multi-story, permanent construction built to the Technical Specifications for Construction and Management of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities - ICD/ICS 705 (ICD/ICS 705) standards and connected to the existing Building 3-2147. Built-in building systems will include fire alarm/mass notification, fire suppression, energy management control, telephone and advanced unclassified and classified communications networks, cable TV, intrusion detection, closed circuit surveillance, and electronic access control systems, a hardened protected distribution system, a built-in automated parachute storage and retrieval system, and cyber security measures. Department of Defense principles for high performance and sustainable building requirements will be included in the design and construction of the project in accordance with federal laws and Executive Orders. Low Impact Development features will be included in the design and construction of this project as appropriate. Supporting facilities include site preparation, utilities (electrical, water, gas, sanitary sewer, chilled water, and information systems distribution), lighting, vehicle parking, access drives, curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm drainage, landscaping, roads, and other site improvements. Appropriate cybersecurity measures will be applied to the facility-related control systems in accordance with current Department of Defense criteria. Access for persons with disabilities will be provided. Comprehensive interior design and audio-visual services are included. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
