Repair/replace wall tile - possible bid alternate for full replacement during construction. During design, we will need to decide if it is practical to just repair/fix or if we need to replace fully. o Check operation of heating systems. o Heating sensors and thermostats have been ripped off the wall. Will need to come up with a better solution for protection. o Replace toilet partitions. o Install new sinks, fixtures, and countertops. o Replace heated ceiling panels which have occupancy sensors. These are located above each bathroom stall. o Upsize and replace vent piping that is located on the roof of the restrooms. The vent piping was stolen in a theft so we would need to either think of a better design or create an extra line of security (i.e. fencing) for protection and to prevent access to the restroom roof from the parking deck. o Improve exhaust vents. o Evaluate existing plumbing fixtures, possible floor mounted toilets. o Repair finishes, including painting. o Replace and relocate hand dryers and trash receptacles. o Permit review. o FTA funding will require compliance with Buy America, Davis Bacon, and DBE participation, including preparation of an independent cost estimate (ICE) o Conduct meetings and provide minutes. o Assist with bidding, bid alternates and unit prices, RFI's, pay applications, change orders, and other project tasks associated with construction administration. o Other opportunities for Station improvement as directed by the City. It is important that all Respondents submitting to this RFQ periodically check the North Carolina Interactive Purchasing System (IPS) for any Addenda. It is the Respondents responsibility to ensure that all addenda have been reviewed and, if required signed and returned.
