Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Granville, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Owner will provide de-watering to prevent flotation, then drain and hose clean the tankage. All in-coming wastewater will be diverted by the Owner into the adjacent lagoon. The Owner will provide the de-watering and wastewater diversion for the duration of the project with the tank drained, the Contractor shall re-coat portions of the interior walls of the tanks. The aeration system will be reconfigured, and new diffusers will be installed with new air piping around the circumference of the tanks. Miscellaneous repairs will also be performed. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act The successful Bidder shall provide at least 50% of all labor required for the completion of this project. Bidders are advised that this Contract will be subject to the Build America, Buy America "BABA" Act. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the gross amount of the bid and be payable to the order of the Village of Granville. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding.
