Sullivan Park (Thorne St) Pavilions Roof Replacement The Village reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive technical defects in proposals and to reject any proposals which, in the opinion of the Village, will not adequately answer the requirements of the Village. Questions received less than 7 days before bid opening cannot be answered Firms qualified and certified as Minority Business Enterprises (MBE) and Women Business Enterprises (WBE) are strongly encouraged to submit bids. SULLIVAN PARK PAVILIONS ROOFING SPEC SHEET Sullivan Park Pavilions, 403 Thorne St, Horseheads, NY Three Pavilions a. Playground Pavilion - near playground area on east end of park b. Concession Pavilion -located with concession and park restrooms c. West End Pavilion -located far west of park Obtain and maintain all necessary permits and OSHA requirements Tear off and remove all existing shingle layers for all three paviions Inspect/replace any decking with OSB or CDX as needed, and a ny trusses damaged and rotting Install ice and water shield barrier per manufacturers specs (underlayment) Install at a minimum 29-gauge corrugated metal roof system with exposed fasteners, including ridge cap, closers, pearling's, rake and corners, drip edge, vapor barrier, and snow cleats or ice bars for all 3 pavilions, color to be chosen bv Owner a. In addition, for the concession pavilion install full lengta gutters and down spouts (color to match roof or white) and chimney fashings 129 gauge) All demo material to be hauled away Any ground disturbances and damage need to be repaired ard cleaned up for the work site (i.e. -ruts, damage to grass). Work site for each pavilion to be left as found upon arrival or start of construction. 10. Scheduling flexibility, however work to be commenced no later than 180 calendar days, and completed by September 30, 2025 11. All environmental and safety laws and regulations are to be strictly followed 12. Authorized work areas and staging areas are to be agreed aheed of time and will be restored upon completion 13. All equipment and materials necessary to do the full scope cf work are to be included 14. Contractor may be given access to certain areas in the building interior, this access must be controlled by a responsible party, building interio' is not to ce used for storage of materials, general roof access, restrooms, etc. 15. All work described above is included in the lump sum bid unless specifically mentioned otherwise 16. Contractor's five-year workmanship warranty against roof leaks 17. A minimum of 10% will be withheld until final inspection aad a ' warranties are received 18. Manufacturer's 20 year No Dollar Limit (NDL) warranty included, this warranty includes a technical inspection of the roof by the manufacturer when complete and before issuing the warranty
